Ultra-Precision Machining

Precision technology that excels in every detail, total solutions proven by results — JS PRECISION

Roll Machining

  • Standard Prism

A basic prism pattern of uniformly repeating V-shaped grooves. Ultra-precision pitches down to 20㎛ can be achieved, and it is used for optical films and display components.

  • Wave Pattern (FTS)

Wavy freeform patterns are produced by high-speed oscillating machining with an FTS (Fast Tool Servo). It enables non-linear complex shapes that are impossible with conventional turning.

  • Pyramid Prism

Grid-type pyramid structures are machined through X·Z·C multi-axis simultaneous control. Used for retroreflective films and high-performance optical materials.

  • Inclined Prism

An asymmetric prism pattern machined with the tool tilted using the B-axis (tool index). It enables machining of inclined structures that are difficult to achieve with conventional turning.

  • Composite Prism

A composite pattern combining prisms in two or more directions. It can realize multiple optical properties at once and is used to produce high-performance optical components.

  • Lenticular

A lens-shaped pattern with gentle curved surfaces; pitches of 100㎛ or more are machined with high precision. Applied to 3D displays and light-diffusion films.
